Description: Explore one picture through the eyes of the royal family. Each character has 6 slides. The first slide students are asked to choose the predicate of the sentence. On each following slide, the predicate is modified by adding where, how, when, and why something happened. Verb tense is consistently in third person singular. The last picture in each set allows students to manipulate the sentence order by dragging and dropping glued phrases in different orders. Explore how word order maintains or changes the meaning of the intended message. By providing the same picture throughout, students must continually take in new information and view the scene from multiple perspectives. Character feelings are included to work on reading social cues.
