Description: Please enjoy this play activity that will allow you to address so many speech & language goals. It also pairs nicely with books that center around peanut butter & jelly sandwiches! Because it is a simple recipe, you can recommend parents to extend their child's learning by making a peanut butter & jelly sandwich at home! In this set of boom cards, students are encouraged to "role play" making sandwiches for a friend, think about the materials needed, and sequence the steps of the activity by building the sandwich! Students are also able to use perspective-taking skills to think about what type of jelly their friends want! Do they want grape or strawberry jelly? At the end, students are encouraged to think about how their friend might think, feel, or say after eating the sandwich. This activity can last for an entire session! This digital activity could also work nicely for students in group sessions, where turn-taking can be addressed! There are two friends in this activity, so the play sequence will occur twice within this deck. Goals addressed: - Receptive Language - Expressive Language - Pragmatic Language Skills/Social Skills - Critical thinking/Planning - Theory of Mind/Feelings Enjoy!
