Description
Use this interactive single card activity with my ocean animals spinner found on my Instagram page! Follow me @Miss.D.SLP! This activity can be used in combination with my "Ocean Animals Core & Fringe Vocabulary" Boom Cards deck! Find the link to my free spinner to have your students spin the wheel to find out which ocean animal they should add to the ocean! Then use this card to have your students "find" the ocean animal and "put it in" the ocean! Use this activity practice functional communication and communicative functions including: requesting, labeling, answering wh- questions, answering yes/no questions, directing others' actions, and more! Target early language skills including: following directions, prepositions/spatial concepts, turn-taking, identifying/labeling ocean animals, describing (e.g., category, appearance, location, function, parts) and more! Have extra time at the end of a session? Use this as a simple reinforcement activity while reviewing thematic vocabulary! Enjoy!
