Earth Day is around the corner! Educate your students about the importance of planting trees and the harmful effects of deforestation with this math escape room-like activity. The math skills include addition and subtraction within 20, introduction to fraction, and place value. Background: They plant a seed after successfully answering the first activity. As they continue with the math challenges, they will watch the seed as it grows into a tree (sequencing type). They will also read a short text about deforestation and the problems it causes.
