Description
This is a counting activity using a ten frame. There are 20 cards and each number from 1-10 is represented two times. The student counts the African animals within the ten frame and then selects the correct number below. These are correcting cards and when the correct number is selected, the card will advance. This deck can be used as individual or group instruction and is also fun during transitions or as an 'exit ticket.' The animals to be counted vary on all 20 pages adding to vocabulary. Hakuna Matata! The animals are: lion, hippo, elephant, crocodile, rhino, giraffe, leopard, hyena, gorilla, gazelle, zebra, vulture, chimpanzee, warthog, meerkat, ostrich, baboon, anteater, water buffalo and flamingo.
