Description
This game gives your students practice in making 5. There are 12 cards in total. There are 6 cards with the first number missing in the addition sum and 6 cards with the second number missing. Students can use their own methods to fill in the missing numbers, such as counting on from the number of raindrops under the clouds or some students may use some other methods to fill in the blank space. Optional: Students can move the required number raindrops under the cloud to help them find the missing numbers or mentally work it out. After you submit your answer, you will hear a bell sound if you are correct, and the deck will advance to the next card. If you hear a ‘whoops’ sound, you have made an error and you can easily self-correct. The cards are randomized and so the cards will appear in a different order each time this deck is played. Students will learn or review: - Which two numbers make 5 - Whole number can be split into parts - Addition can be done in any order. Have fun!:)
