Description: Take your students on a virtual field trip to the tropical rainforest! This resource includes some very basic information about the tropical rainforest, along with some interesting photos and video links. In this deck of Boom Cards, students will learn information and look at photos of the tropical rainforest. They will be asked to write (their observations, what they have learned, etc.) on numerous cards in the deck, which should give your students some valuable opportunities to practice writing in a fun way. There are also three YouTube videos embedded into this deck of Boom Cards so students can have a virtual experience in the tropical rainforest: 1. Educational rainforest video (4 mins.) 2. Virtual rainforest safari boat ride video (9 mins.) 3. Second ride on the safari boat video (8 mins.) Lastly, there is a short and easy quiz at the end to wrap things up.
