Description
Students will practice listening for details and other receptive language skills as they listen to the clues and try to guess the gingerbread man. There are 3 levels of play (field of 4, field of 8, field of 12). This activity also includes an open ended game with 15 monsters where students can take turns describing a gingerbread man and guessing which one is being described. You could also use this card to practice asking yes/no questions (like Guess Who) - "Is it wearing a hat?", "Does it have a scarf?", etc ?". Finally, students can build their own gingerbread people for a fun reward. This is a fun way to practice giving and following directions.
