Description: In this deck, students will count the vertices, faces and edges on 3D shapes. They will also identify if a shape is a pyramid or prism. Shapes included are cube, rectangular prism, hexagonal prism, hexagonal pyramid, octagonal prism, octagonal pyramid, pentagonal prism, pentagonal pyramid, square based pyramid, triangle based pyramid, and triangular prism. There are 60 cards in a deck, but students will just play 15 cards each time they play. I am currently a Carnegie Math Trained 5th grade math teacher.
