Description: This boom card activity supports students to think about the situation, an individual’s reaction and their intent to decide if an action was on purpose or an accident. It supports discussion on how we react to the actions of others. On each card students are provide a situation (e.g., Jake dropped Jayden’s phone and the screen cracked) and then a reaction (e.g., Jake looked upset and offered to fix the phone). Students then decide if they feel this action was an accident or done on purpose. Visuals are provided for both the situation and reaction to support students.
