Description: Beginner French students will practice la date et le calendrier in this 27-card deck. Students will stay engaged with the variety of cards! All cards are in French. The cards are randomized. Students will interact with 7 different types of cards. Students will be asked to listen, categorize, and read questions and answers regarding the date. Some examples of cards include: -listening to a date and choosing what it represents in words or digits -deciding if sentences are correctly written -looking at a calendar and answering a question about date -writing the correct digits for given date -choosing the correctly written date The main focus of this deck is understanding the order of the date, both in words (C'est le quinze janvier) and digit (C'est le 15/01). Example questions include: Quelle est la date aujourd'hui? C'est quand, le concert? Example answers include*: On est le 05/11 Nous sommes le 8 juin C'est le lundi 13 janvier (Six cards require day, date, month) *Students are exposed to "On est...", "Nous sommes..." and "C'est..." but the focus is on the date and its order.
