Description: A prefix is a group of letters that's added to the beginning of a word. A suffix is an affix that's added to the end of a word. Students will enjoy this fun game while gain practice in prefixes and suffixes. Students will look at the root word and add either a prefix or suffix to the word, which will give the word a new meaning. Game can be used as independent practice, learning center activity, whole or homework practice. What are Boom Cards? Boom cards are fun interactive digital cards that allow students to self check their answer. Students don’t need pencils, Crayola, or paper, making learning more engaging. Because cards are randomized, students will have fun playing again and again.
