Description: This is a book companion that allows for use with separate purchase of the book "How to Catch an Elf" by Adam Wallace. This set includes 3 parts: 1) Preteach Vocabulary: vocabulary from the story. Sentence strips, interactive pieces, and lots of language opportunities. 2) Open-ended Play: FEED ME Elf or Gingerbread House (reinforcer- could be used for articulation, language, etc.) 3) Questions (differentiated into two levels): Level 1 with 2 picture choices, Level 2 open ended with typing option Directions: Click on the activity you want to do. Click on the Gingerbread picture within each page to go back to the main page. Use the arrows to go forward or backward. Use the preteaching section to target vocabulary and other terms from the book, expansion of utterances (MLU) using sentence strips in no fail or errorless teaching. Use the play scenes for open-ended play, reinforcement (articulation and other skills), requesting, spatial positions, and vocabulary. Use answering questions to go through story recall, target simple /wh/ questions, and to increase retention of concepts.
