Description: Simple, CUTE Interactive Book for Early Intervention, Pre-K and K. Basic, easy to understand language to target basic vocabulary, receptive and expressive language in a fun winter/Christmas theme! Have students place the items on the Gingerbread Man to help him get ready. Receptive language: Have students choose the correct item. Have students place them in the correct spot on the Gingerbread Man. There is an additional receptive language task on each page corresponding to the item the child placed on the Gingerbread Man (e.g. Show me your shirt). Expressive language: Have the child name the item as they place it. Work on increasing MLU by having the child formulate complete sentences (use sentence strips if needed - not included).
