Description
Celebrate black history month with this yoga movement deck! Perfect for virtual / hybrid lessons, gross motor time, brain break, indoor recess, or adding movement and fun to your black history unit. Each card features a prominent figure in black history, a short synopsis of their importance to history, plus a movement to act out. There are 23 total movement cards in the deck. The deck follows a yoga flow and at the end of the deck (cards 26 - 35) there are 1-2 movement suggestions for each card that will allow you to tailor movements to your students grade/skill level and abilities plus another card with other learning suggestions to incorporate into the activity.
