Students can use these boom cards to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators using the four square method. The deck has five problems total. For each problem students must list the multiples of the denominators, find the LCM, generate equivalent fractions, solve, and convert to mixed numbers if necessary. Note that this deck does not require students to simplify proper fractions. Aligns with 5.nf.1.
