Description
Target negation grammar skills in order of difficulty of comprehension with my Understanding Negatives in Sentences decks and try this FREE SAMPLE deck to get started. With 4 levels and a fun interactive format, your students will listen to each sentence on a card and match its meaning to one of 3 pictures. Each sentence has a highlighted word which when stressed, impacts comprehension of the sentence. The deck is navigated with a Table of Contents. It contains 14 cards. Task 1: Negated Action Verb e.g. "The bear is not PAINTING." Task 2: Negated Subject e.g. "My BROTHER is not climbing." Task 3: Negated Object of a Preposition e.g. "The pumpkins are not in the WHEELBARROW." Task 4: Negated Direct Object e.g. "He is not holding a BASKET."
