🔶🌟 Multiple Oppositions Therapy for /t/ Initial Phoneme Collapse ⭐ This deck is designed for a student that says /t/ for most sounds: for example /k, sh, ch, s, th, kw, s-blends, r-blends, L-blends/ are all produced with /t/. This is called phoneme collapse. Often if /t/ is the most used sound they will also use /d/ for some of the voiced cognates because voicing errors are common as well. This deck is for a phoneme collapse where /t/ is the predominant sound. This type of speech disorder results in a severe speech sound disorder with unintelligible speech. ⭐ There are three CV words that start with /t/ that are then contrasted with 5 different CV words. Try to elicit 10 productions of the target word on each card. ⭐ After you get done with the five words, review them in a fun reward activity where you get to design your own candy bar.
