Description: In this multiplayer game, students will use an external dice to travel around the board. Each player will select a pawn and a cupcake on the right. If a student lands on a space at the bottom of a ladder, they can travel up the ladder. If they land on a space at the beginning of a snake, they must slide down the snake. As students travel around the board, they will collect items to make a cupcake. If a student lands on a space with a cupcake piece (frosting, cupcake cup, cherry, sprinkles) they will put the piece over their designated fire. If they land on a star, they can pick a piece of their choice from the "Cupcake Corner'' piles. If you are playing with more or less players, you can add or take away cupcake pieces by moving them on/off the board and placing them in the ''Cupcake Corner' stacks. You can also re-arrange the cupcake pieces onto new tiles when students want to play this game again and again. The winner of this game will make it to the 40th space with all of their cupcake pieces over their fire (frosting, cupcake cup, cherry, and sprinkles). If they make it to the finish line without all four pieces, they must return to start and play through the board again.  This game can be played open-ended or with articulation words. This is a great reinforcement activity for any speech or language session. This resource comes with articulation sounds in the initial,medial and final positions of words: /k,g,r,l,s/ and /s/ blends.
