Description: CCSS K.G.A.2, 1.G.A.1 Your Kindergarten or first grade students will love reviewing 2D shapes with these picture reveal digital task cards. Students are shown a shape name and then must find the matching 2D shape. The shapes in this deck include circle, square, triangle, rectangle, hexagon, and heart. Each time your student correctly answers, another piece of the picture is revealed! These task cards are perfect for the beginning of the year because they have a cute back-to-school theme and only 16 task cards. There is a "Back to School Picture Reveal" Bundle. You can use one of the decks on your ActivBoard to model how to use Boom Cards. Then, students can practice with the other 3 decks that have similar formats. The other decks review colors, basic addition facts to 6, and number recognition to 10. Audio directions and shape names are provided. There is a final "You did it!" task card. K.G.A.2 Correctly name shapes regardless of their orientations or overall size. 1.G.A.1 Distinguish between defining attributes (e.g., triangles are closed and three-sided) versus non-defining attributes (e.g., color, orientation, overall size); build and draw shapes to possess defining attributes.
