Description: This is a fun deck with pretend play forms. The student can pretend to be: vet, doctor, dentist, teacher, police officer, or server. Use this in the play center in small groups or one-on-one giving students a guide in how to play in a dramatic play center. Decks use the Boom Ink feature so students can 'write' their instruction on the forms. Some forms also have movable visuals as well as sound effects. Have fun! * Pretend play is important for development because it helps develop social skills, language, and critical thinking skills. It also helps promote independence and develops social skills. Students learn how to take on different roles to understand and respond to others. They learn how to cooperate and work together. Students encounter problems and must work together to solve them, developing their critical thinking skills. Pretend play is also great at enhancing vocabulary skills.
