Description: This is a perspective taking activity that requires students to analyze facial expressions in photos, and then apply the clues they find to discuss the social problem/social story. This product can be appropriate for middle, high school, or adult students. ★ Students will be analyzing facial expressions in a photo of a real person. They will work together to identify problems in a given scenario, identifying feelings/thoughts, and generate appropriate solutions. ★ The photos and accompanying social scenarios/prompts are meant for small group discussion, but can be used individually. ★ The question prompts include a “fill-in-the-blank” space that you OR your students can fill in during the discussion.
