Description: Have "old school" fun with this game of dots and boxes while reading sight words. More classic games (Rock Paper Scissors, Four Across, BINGO, Checkers) to target sight words are currently in development. Check my store frequently or follow my Facebook page (Suddenly Tele-SLP) for product and freebie notifications. Step 1: Decide which animal each player will be, and who will go first. Step 2: Players take turns moving vertical or horizontal lines to connect dots. To target sight word reading, the players describe the position of the line they place (ex. between here and she). Step 3: The object is to complete as many boxes as you can, so try NOT to make the 3rd line in a box, because the next player will complete it. Step 4: When a player completes the 4th line in a box, they place their animal character inside the box to claim it. The player who completes a box continues to play until they can't complete any more. Step 5: Players continue to take turns, completing and filling as many boxes as they can until all are filled. Step 6: Once all boxes are filled, each player counts the number of completed boxes with their animal character. The player who completed the most boxes wins the game. Deck includes the following words: can me is no see look am we the yes go like I a do she big for you his down in on day are my out her have here what and it did they will not say little that at was to he up all come get from good
