A book companion, Set II of III, 61 cards, for the BOOK, "Shu Shu's Secret" ©2018 (Book Not included). Presentation of the book, is necessary in order to complete this deck. An e-BOOK/Audio book version is available in my Boom Store. Cards provide AUDIO for written questions and pictures & written responses. Set II: 3 sections. 1st section presents the: "MAVILLAE" Story Elements "MINDSET" mnemonic Learning Tool (M-SEMLT) ©2017, a tool for learning and memorization of the NAMES of narrative story elements, & their MEANINGS, for NARRATIVE Development. Each symbol on the tool provides text, picture symbol, and AUDIO descriptions of each tool story element symbol. 2nd section: Assesses comprehension of story elements by having students now identify the correct story element picture symbol, for a given story picture scene. This is different than SET I, which had students identify the correct story picture scene for given Story Elements. The 3rd section: Comprehension of story text, Comprehension of the meanings of the story elements, & additionally comprehension of the story text specifically as it relates to story elements Student have to read the 4 choices. Overall, learning and memorizing the M-SEMLT is a strategy that can help develop oral and written narrative skills, that can generalize across other books/stories, and build reading/listening comprehension.
