Description: Great deck teaching SEL about empathy to middle high school students. Covers how teens respond to conflicts, including peer pressure, teasing and bullying. Students can choose a "good" and "bad" outcome and see how each plays out. Then, they build their own outcome and explore the components of the story related to empathy. Includes: Student self-rating, Knowledge check, Social narrative: we make choice about acting and reacting to situations, Introduction and conflict: boys, peer pressure, bullying, Students then choose to explore outcome 1 or outcome 2 (or both), Students answer questions to analyze each outcome, Explore empathy, vocabulary, what it is, how it looks, Build your own outcome to the same scenario, End of lesson review, How was your effort?
