Description: This deck contains a visual support to provide the strategies for how to respond to verbal bullying and teasing. It teaches general strategies for what to do and what not to do, and provides many examples. There are multiple knowledge checks throughout, in order to assist with data collection. Note: this protocol is most effective when followed by role-play practice sessions. If your learner tends to respond in an emotional manner, start by allowing your learner to play the part of the bully. As a next step, when you play the part of the bully, use statements that do not directly push any of your learner's "hot buttons" so they get multiple practice sessions without emotional triggers.
