This mermaid-theme game allows you to target the phonemes: /m, p, b, w, h, t, d, k, g, f and v in consonant-vowel combinations. There are four different vowel combinations. The goal of the game: get the mermaid safely across the ocean to the other side. She is carrying a bubble containing a consonant, when she reaches her destination, there will be a vowel. Your student needs to say the consonant to make her move and combine it in a CV combo at the end before swimming her off the page. There is also a bonus practice area where your student can practice the same task with bubbles; however, instead of floating them off the page they will cover up their corresponding pictures in the grid of six bubbles.
