Description: This fun, motivating activity was designed to teach the concept of asking/formulating questions. Many children are taught how to answer questions, but teaching them how to ask questions is more difficult. If your student/child knows how to request by saying “I want __,” you can use this activity to teach them to ask by saying “Can I __?” Teach your student/child how to ask Who, What, Where, When, and Why questions as well. You can also target answering WH questions if that is the goal for your student. What’s included: There are five scenes included: camping, farm, beach, park, and restaurant. There are visuals included at the top of each scene for Can, Who, What, Where, When, and Why. There are also suggested questions on the left of each scene to help teach your student/child to ask. This will help you prompt them as you move the items/people in the scenes or talk about the scenes. How to use: Click “start” and then prompt your student/child to ask “Can we go…?” Click one of the scene options. The items/people in the scenes are all movable.
