Description: Your students will LOVE learning about data collection and graphing with these boom cards! The topic of the deck is transport (ways that students travel to school). First, the students have to drag and drop objects to complete the graph. Next, they have to interpret the results by counting how many objects in each category. After that, they compare categories and discuss how many more objects are in one compared to another. Then, they answer true or false questions about the results. Finally, they answer questions about the most/least popular and how many data points there are altogether. Audio is included. This boom deck aligns with the following standard: CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.1.MD.C.4 Organize, represent, and interpret data with up to three categories; ask and answer questions about the total number of data points, how many in each category, and how many more or less are in one category than in another.
