Description: Target 8 emotions (happy, sad, angry, scared, embarrassed, confused, surprised and excited) with this boom card deck! A "doors" theme is used throughout (i.e. sort emotion pictures between labeled doors, put kids in line at the classroom door, and decorate 2 doors). Includes 3 components: -Identifying emotion characteristics (16 slides): Students will drag check marks to boxes to decide if the "normal" characteristics of an emotion are present with the picture. Talk about the characteristics for each emotion. Students will also "make a face" to match the emotion word. -Sorting emotion faces (4 slides): Students will sort pictures for 2 emotions at a time. -Putting the kid with a specific emotion in line (7 slides): Students will drag the kid with the indicated emotion into the line (i.e. Put the happy girl in line). Each slide the line is longer from their prior selections. -Bonus Game: Decorate 2 doors. Students will drag and drop seasonal decor onto 2 doors
