Students develop skills in listening, holding (memory), and manipulating (processing) information to generate relationships between words. The auditory games are paired with visual processing games. Students are required to analyze the appearances of objects in order to access a cassette tape that contains the information they have to listen to. Four auditory processing games are included in this deck: 1) Identify 2 words that go together - Find and play the cassette tape in an I Spy Game. Listen to the set of words and identify 2 words that pair together. (10 items) 2) What word does not belong - Identify the picture that looks different in the group and play the cassette tape hiding behind it. Listen to the set of words and identify the word that does not belong in the group. (10 items) 3) Group the words together - Find the correct match and retrieve the cassette tape hiding behind it. Listen to the set of words and identify 2 pairs of words that go together.
