In this interactive phonological awareness game, each 2-syllable word is split between two halves of a sword. The adult reads each syllable separately with a pause between them, and the learner blends the syllables together to say the complete word. Once they blend the word, they can put the sword together to help defend the treasure from the pirates! This deck is intentionally simple and flexible, allowing the SLP to control the pacing, repetition, and amount of support provided.
