I created this Boom card activity to use as a getting to know you activity with my students. Students love getting to talk about their favorite things. This is a quick simple activity that can be used as a therapy warm up. You can expand on each card by asking the student to describe what they chose, tell why they like it, or use it in a sentence. This free activity includes the following boards: Colors, snacks, drinks, animals, toys, fruit, desserts, and outdoor activities. The student will drag their favorite item in the box and then say the sentence. If your students uses a AAC device, you can ask them to say the sentence with their device. I love using this with young children working on increasing MLU. This activity is available in printable boards in my TPT store in English and in Spanish (with more boards!)
