Description: Buried Treasure is an open ended activity. It can be used to practice making choices, turn taking skills, imitating gestures, labeling items/actions, formulating simple sentences, modeling core vocabulary, answering wh-questions, or as a simple reinforcement activity. Student selects a numbered treasure chest. The activity will automatically advance to the corresponding slide. Read the target phrases. Student drags the treasure chest as well as the last white square in the sentence strip COMPLETELY off the right side of the screen. Model/elicit the carrier phrase. Hit the back button to return to the home screen. To prevent repeat choices, drag and drop a map icon on to the treasure chest that you just finished talking about. Repeat. As always, Happy Learning!
