This interactive Boom Cards deck helps students improve their conversation skills through engaging, real-life examples! Before jumping into practice, students will review how to extend a conversation (e.g., asking about previous experiences, asking for details, and making connections through shared experiences). Next, students will identify whether a person in a scenario extended the conversation (and which method they used) or did not extend the conversation. Finally, students will practice extending conversations using scenarios, with options for independent responses or a field of four choices. Tailored toward high school, college, and young adults.
