This deck is designed to give your students extra practice finding the area of combined rectangles. For each slide students will need to mentally split the figure into two smaller rectangles, find the area of each, and then add. The total area box (final answer) is the only response that is self-graded. The 1st two boxes on each slide are open ended and can be manually graded by the teacher. Students will still receive feedback as to whether their final answer is correct. *An easier version of this deck with the figure already split into 2 smaller rectangles can be found in my store. **This deck is included as part of a bundle.
