Price: 200 points or $2 USD

Subjects: specialed

Grades: 6,7,8

Description: Uses Euros. Great activity for Movie Lovers or for a Movie Theater Unit! This is an alternative for kids who struggle with the Next Dollar method, and transfers into what we experience during our community-based instruction outings. My students come with €5's, €10', and €20's when we go out into the community, so this is a great way to practice making purchases using what they usually bring. I also teach my students to pay with the smallest amount, so there is a card that marks the larger bill wrong. There are 11 self-correcting cards featuring whole dollar amounts. The cards consist of pictures, a price, and a field of two bills to choose from. Bills range from €1.00 to €20.00. Students can answer by clicking or touching the correct answer. They hear a “ding” for the correct answer and an “oops” for an incorrect answer.
