Description
Help students learn to identify an author's purpose by reading a variety of engaging passages. Students will determine whether each passage was written to inform, persuade, entertain, or describe. The deck includes multiple genres, such as news articles, announcements, letters, jokes, poems, dialogues, speeches, tall tales, fantasy stories, and more, to build reading comprehension and analytical thinking skills. Cards will appear in random order each play.
