This deck is designed to target final consonant deletion using all real photos that are colorful and engaging for children to assist with carryover. 3 categories of words are included: animals, food, and things in a house. Each category includes 20 target words, for a total of 60 words included. Each target word was carefully selected to be words children are familiar with, as well as being organized based on the development of phonemes. Articulation target words are listed below: -Animals: ape, sheep, crab, worm, lion, swan, cat, goat, ant, bat, bird, chick, duck, shark, snake, dog, frog, pig, horse, mouse. -Food: chip, grape, soup, ham, lime, ice cream, lemon, corn, popcorn, muffin, donut, carrot, bread, cake, pancake, milk, egg, hot dog, juice, peach. -House: cup, soap, lamp, tub, mom, phone, bone, van, pan, fan, mat, cat, hat, bed, dad, slide, book, sink, dog, trash. Visuals are provided at the bottom of each card that includes an arrow for students to drag their finger along while saying the word, and a star to tap their finger while including the final consonant sound. See additional tips below: -in-person: draw the arrow and star on a post-it and have students trace with their finger/crayon while practicing -teletherapy: have students slide their finger along a table (wherever they are sitting!) and tap at the end while practicing I’d love to hear feedback!
