Description: One of these sweaters have won the Ugly Sweater Contest, but which one? You can find out by solving addition and subtraction equations with no regrouping within 1000. Ten 2 digits + 2 digits addition and five subtraction equations, ten 3 digits +-3 digits addition and 5 subtraction equations. Students will start by clicking the penguin on the map grid. They need to to solve 5 equations correctly. Students will then follow the directions on the top of the map grid page to move the penguin to a space on the grid. Students will then answer 5 more questions and the next map grid page appears with the next set of directions. Students must move the penguin to the correct space on the grid to move forward. Continue until the penguin reaches the winning ugly sweater (6 addition and subtraction map grids- 5 questions per map grid). Directions on the map grid are up, down, left, and right.
