Winter Suffix Sorting Activity for Grades 3, 4, and 5. These are 8 self-grading Boom Cards™ for students to match up different suffixes to root words. Each card has 10 root words that students are to sort. All of the cards have images of penguins holding up the root words. Students can drag the correct penguin and word combo image to the suffix that matches them. If a wrong answer is performed, students will be instantly cued and able to repeat it until the correct option is chosen. The eight suffixes in this deck are the suffix ly, suffix ment, suffix ness, suffix er, suffix able, suffix ible, suffix ful, and the suffix less.
