Description: Spring-themed cards use steps (2nds), skips (3rds), and repeated notes to master bass and treble clefs, melody direction, and right hand/left hand finger numbers. Notes are shown on a staff without a clef to simplify pattern reading. Exact pitch is not needed. Students use the treble or bass clef to decide which hand is needed, then tap the pattern beginning with the finger number shown. When they finish the pattern they tap the correct final finger on the glove. For an added challenge play these at the piano, starting on any white key. Each card has a different pattern and finger number combination (no repeats). Written instructions are included on the first card, and audio instructions play automatically for the next 2 cards. After that, 8 randomized cards will allow students to play a new game each time. All cards have been optimized for audio, visual, and motor accessibility. Created especially to be used with Piano Safari 1, but is not a Piano Safari product. Correlates well with Piano Adventures Primer / Level 1, or any other beginner piano method that uses intervallic reading. Great for in-person and online piano lessons, group classes, piano lab, device-based learning, home-schooling, and take-home assignments.
