Description: No one knows what the new school year will look like but whether students go to school or do virtual school, it is important for them to understand what coronavirus is and what they can do to protect themselves and others. This product includes 20 BOOM cards that will teach children about coronavirus, including possible symptoms and what to do if they get sick. It also deals with ways that students can keep themselves and others safe (such as wearing a mask and social distancing). Cards 1-4 take place at a doctor’s office and include choose-the-right-answer questions. Students will learn about what coronavirus is as well as possible symptoms, and what they need to do if they think they may be sick. Cards 5-10 take place in the schoolyard and include drag and drop questions. Students will use a ruler measure 6 feet and drag and drop kids, so they are at least 6 feet apart. Cards 11-18 take place in the classroom and include drag and drop, as well as choose-the-right-answer questions. Students will decide what they can use(hand sanitizer) to help keep themselves and others safe. They will also choose things that they can do (wear a mask) to keep everyone healthy. Cards 19-20 take place in the reading center and include choose-the-right-answer questions. They are review cards and students will review the most important things they have learned about coronavirus.
