Two different levels are provided with this activity. Level one has THIRTY examples of text where students are asked to categorize whether they are reading a name, a city, or a state. Level two has THIRTY additional examples of text where students are asked to categorize whether they are reading a date, a time, or a price. This is a great activity to build meaningful connections to real world text students may encounter on a variety of forms and other kinds of paperwork.
