Description: This BOOM deck is part of my popular fingerplay series. My students have always loved fingerplays, so I found a way to create them for my students virtually. This BOOM fingerplay can be used as a language activity as well as a phonological task targeting FINAL "T". Start by singing the Happy Cat song on the main page and have the students finish the song by choosing one of the hats.  On the next page, move the hat to see if a cat in inside. Have the students answer yes or no.  If there IS a  cat, ask what color it is.  After a hat has been picked, come back and mark it with an "X" if there was NO cat or with a cat picture  if one was found.  Then you can go back and ask students which hats had a cat and which ones did NOT.  There are two versions of this game so that it can be played more than once and isn't as predictable if played repeatedly.   HAVE FUN!!
