Description
Short U CVC word search is a great way to practice sounding out and spelling words. A small grid of 9 letters for students to hunt for the word spelt correctly. Words can be found horizontal AND vertical (no backwards or diagonal) A lovely fun way to help with letter identification of similar letters to develop accuracy and fluency. Our kids love little word finds so this is another great way to do them. Students place a counter over each letter as they sound out the word for the given picture. The three counters also help with orthographic mapping. The 12 words included are: bus, cut, sub, sun, hut, hug, jug, pup, bud, bug, run, yum
