Description
STEP 8 of Ear Training Step by Step (also in the path bundle). Self-checking ear training for Grades 4-6. Hear a home note (do), then a mystery note from its major scale; tap its name. First home G (G major, with F♯), then home F (F major, with B♭). 29 cards, 20 scored. SAME TUNE, NEW HOME NOTE Colours follow do re mi, not the letter: the tune's shape stays when the home note moves. Star notes do, mi and sol are asked most (12 of 20). HOW IT WORKS - 3 learn cards: star notes G, B, D; G major; F major (key signatures shown). - Round 1: G, B or D, with a star speaker. - Round 2: all 8 notes of G major, with a scale speaker. - Round 3: all 8 notes of F major, with a scale speaker. - Round 4: home G or F; star notes only to compare. - Reveal card after each round. Relative pitch, as in do-re-mi singing. This deck does not teach perfect pitch. SELF-CHECKING, WITH HELP WHEN STUCK - Boom scores every answer; retry wrong ones at once. - Two tap-to-show hints per question. ACCURACY Every answer is checked by our own verification software and by AI test solves from the cards and sounds alone, without the answer key. It has not been tested with a class. No process is perfect; if you spot an error, please tell us through the store's feedback. HOW IT WAS MADE Text written with AI assistance and fact-checked. All images and music notation are drawn in code; no AI image generators were used. All sounds are made in code. No AI voice. Needs sound. Plays in a browser; needs internet.
