This deck ACCOMPANIES the BOOK, soft, or hardcover version of the BOOK "No, Silly-Willy", ©2018, Author Caroline J Clarke Connelly. (Book not included). Although the vocabulary is theme related to the book, the book is NOT required for the completion of this activity. This Deck targets reading sight words taken from the "book theme" related vocabulary. In order to know the answer they would also have to know the NAME/LABEL for the vocabulary pictures on each card. What students will SEE, HEAR, and DO per card: ---Each card contains 1 pictured vocabulary targets ---Each card contains 3 written words as answer choices in drop boxes ---Student will drag the pictures to the box that contains the correct written label for the pictures. Ideas for expanding beyond that, depending on the stimuli presented: ---Beginning and ending sounds of each word i.e what's the beginning sound of ___? Ending sound?___ ---Find/name a word with a long vowel/short vowel ---Which words rhyme? COMPEHENSION related to basic concepts: ---What can a ___ do? (Function) ---What does a ___ have?(Attribute) ---Whayt is a ___? (Category)
