This is a great way for your students to practice identifying coins. Your student will practice identifying pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters in 3 different formats. MA.1.4.B Number and operations. The student applies mathematical process standards to identify coins, their values, and the relationships among them in order to recognize the need for monetary transactions. The student is expected to: write a number with the cent symbol to describe the value of a coin; and Given the money word, they must identify the coin. Given the coin, they must identify the money word. Given the money word, they must drop the coin into the bank.
