Description
Students are asked to open the presents and see whats behind them. Behind each present is a different toy. Students are asked yes/no question such as "is it a car or is it a duck" and given 2 visual choices (e.g. yes/no). This helps students learn verbs, follow directions as well as answering yes/no questions. Some of the following goals can be targeted during this activity: - Yes/No Questions - Wh questions (e.g. After the student answers the yes/no question, ask the student what is it to work on labeling). - Expanding Utterances: Provide students with a visual sentence starter (e.g. I see) and ask students "what do you see?"
